Following Texas Tech’s 43-20 victory over Kansas State, the network announced Saturday night that its flagship pregame show will broadcast live from the Hub City next weekend. It will mark the first time since 2008 that College GameDay has originated from Texas Tech’s campus.

For some of the players, a chance to be featured on ‘Game Day’ is a long-time coming. “Lubbock’s going to be jumping for sure. I know this is a big thing for Texas Tech, it’s been some time since they’ve come to Lubbock, so I’m excited about it,” said quarterback Behren Morton moments after GameDay was announced.

The pregame show airs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. (or so) Central time. Texas Tech announced Tuesday the first two hours of the show will take place in the green area West of Jones AT&T Stadium next to the parking lot. It's the same location FOX's Big Noon Kickoff set up last year for the Colorado game.
