Here’s a look at India’s squad which managed to create history by winning the Women’s World Cup 2025 on home soil.

India beat South Africa by 52 runs to win their first Women's World Cup title in Mumbai on Sunday. Hosts India posted 298-7 and then bowled out South Africa for 246, with spinner Deepti Sharma taking five wickets in the final in front of a sell-out crowd at the DY Patil Stadium.

Leading the charts is Meg Lanning with 11 hundreds as captain, followed by Suzie Bates and Laura Wolvaardt with 8 each. Chamari Athapaththu and Hayley Matthews have six centuries apiece.

Shafali Verma was not included in the Indian squad for the tournament. She was called up as a replacement ahead of the semifinals for Pratika Rawal, who was ruled out of the tournament following an ankle injury.
