PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns have unveiled their initial injury report ahead of their Sunday night clash against the San Antonio Spurs. Both Dillon Brooks (core muscle strain) and Jalen Green (hamstring) have been ruled out while Isaiah Livers is doubtful with a right hip contusion suffered previously.
The Suns closed that gap to four on a 6-0 spurt, but Jaylen Wells answered with a four-point play as Booker fouled him on a corner 3 in front of the Phoenix bench. The Suns challenged the call for the foul to be called on the floor, but the challenge was unsuccessful as it was ruled on the shot.
Booker paced the Suns with a game-high 32 points, with 29 coming in the second half, while Morant scored 28 in leading Memphis. Mark Williams posted a second straight 20-point double-double, finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds in his first start with the Suns.
Devin Booker called out the Suns’ slow starts after their 138-134 loss to the Jazz, saying Phoenix “needed this one."
Jalen Green has yet to play a game for the Phoenix Suns after being involved in the Kevin Durant trade before the 2025 NBA Draft.
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns again found themselves on the losing end of a matchup - this time with the Memphis Grizzlies in town for a Wednesday night clash. Phoenix, in the final seconds, couldn't do enough in their 114-113 loss to Memphis, dropping them to 1-4 on the season.
