Amazon will cut about 14,000 corporate jobs as the online retail giant ramps up spending on artificial intelligence while trimming spending.

Amazon has announced plans to cut 14,000 jobs across its organization.

In the announcement, Beth Galetti, Amazon's senior vice president of people experience and technology, states that Amazon is "performing well" but "that the world is changing quickly."
