According to FBS Schedules, the Roadrunners have added UT-Rio Grande Valley to their 2026 football schedule, hosting the Vaqueros at the Alamodome on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026. The Vaqueros will receive $350,000 guaranteed for playing in the game.
Quarterback Jake Retzlaff said Tulane would treat every remaining game as a championship contest, beginning with Thursday night's trip to Texas-San Antonio, as it tries to stay on top of the American Conference and reach all of its preseason goals.
