Israel accuses Hamas of a "clear violation" of the ceasefire deal after tests showed the remains belonged to a person whose body was previously returned.

Hamas's al-Qassam Brigades named the two hostages' remains that it found in the Tuesday announcement. Hamas claimed that it uncovered the remains of two hostages during excavations in Gaza City on Tuesday evening.
