CAIRO, November 2. /TASS/. The Grand Egyptian Museum has opened in the Egyptian capital, according to a ceremony broadcast by the office of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The £760 million megaproject for the first time displays all of King Tutankhamun’s funeral treasures in one place.
By opening the museum, Egypt was "writing a new chapter in the story of this ancient nation's present and future," Sisi said at the opening.
