UNC football earned a 27-10 win at Syracuse for the Tar Heels ' first ACC win with coach Bill Belichick. BYU remained unbeaten after defeating Iowa State 41-27. The No. 11-ranked Cougars improved to 8-0 and are still tied atop the Big 12 standings (5-0) with Cincinnati after overcoming a 14-point deficit in the first half.

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bearcats are 7-1 after a 41-20 win over the Baylor Bears on Saturday. Cincinnati had plenty of rushing highlights on a 250-plus-yard day. Add in a pair of turnovers, one from the defense and special teams, and there were plenty of great moments for UC in all three phases.
