Jon Perry will stand as head coach for the first time when Navy travels to South Carolina to play Presbyterian in the season opener.

Thorp is running against independent candidate William Cunha, owner of Oscar’s Coffee, to represent Ward 8 on the Annapolis City Council.

William Cunha first thought about running for City Council when he was working on renovating his Annapolis home.
